Win Prizes from Send A Smile Today on April 3! NWA Gives Day of Giving!

Join us for 12 epic hours on April 3, 2025 as we participate in NWA Gives day of giving! Send A Smile Today has a goal to raise $5,000 on this day of giving. Donations to Send A Smile Today should be made on the NWA Gives campaign page for Send A Smile Today starting at 8:00 a.m. on March 27 to count towards our goal.

Donations can be made via debit card, credit card, PayPal, ApplePay, Venmo, Google Pay, and ACH through www.nwagives.org. MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express will be accepted. The minimum donation for NWA Gives is $5. There is no maximum donation limit.

If you make a donation of $10 or more to Send A Smile Today between March 27 8:00 a.m. CST and April 3 8:00 pm CST, your name will automatically be entered into a random drawing to win prizes from Send A Smile Today at 8:30 pm CST on April 3, 2025. We will be giving away a pair of earrings from Kendra Scott, Send A Smile Today merchandise and gift cards to nationwide stores. What is NWA Gives?

NWA Gives hosts an epic 12 hours of giving each year. The Day of Giving is intended to promote access to online fundraising, connect individuals to local nonprofits that are doing great work in their communities and raise awareness about fundraising strategies among Northwest Arkansas nonprofits. For 12 hours, donors are encouraged to give a minimum of $5 to the organization of their choice. NWA Gives broadly promotes the Day of Giving, and individual nonprofit organizations are responsible for promoting their particular profile pages. To incentivize participation, NWA Gives offers grants and prizes to organizations on the Day of Giving based on the amount of money they raise, the number of unique donors to their page, and more.

 

Can I make my NWA Gives donation early?

Yes! Starting at 8am on March 27th donors will be able to make their donations, while still having it count toward NWA Gives. You can also donate to organizations on the site year-round, though only donations from March 27 – April 3 count towards Day of Giving totals.

 

What forms of payment are accepted?

Donations can be made via debit card, credit card, PayPal, ApplePay, and ACH through www.nwagives.org. MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express will be accepted. The minimum donation for NWA Gives is $5. There is no maximum donation limit. For donations over $50, the website will give you the option of submitting payment through your bank account. This could save you and/or the benefiting organization on transaction fees. For donors that give via their bank account, credit card processing fees will be replaced by a 1% transaction fee, plus a $1.50 fixed fee per transaction (total ACH processing fees will be capped at $5.00) platform and brand fee still apply.

 

Can I fundraise for my favorite nonprofit?

Yes! You can be an ambassador for the cause(s) you care about. To get started, you can visit the Organization Page of any nonprofit listed on NWA Gives and click “Fundraise” to start the page creation process. Please note that in order to create a Fundraising Page you will be prompted to sign into your user account, or create one if you don’t already have an account.
