COVID-19 update – still accepting donations

During the COVID-19 outbreak, we are still accepting donations of greeting cards, envelopes, postage stamps and monetary donations. Those with cancer need our support now more than ever. If you know of anyone with cancer, or if you have cancer, please sign up to receive free monthly cards of encouragement from Send A Smile Today.

What are we doing to prevent the spread of COVID-19?

  1. We are checking our Send A Smile Today mailbox once a week.
  2. All donation packages received will sit untouched for at least 5 days at Send A Smile Today. Please expect a 2-3 week acknowledgement of your donation. We are continuing to mail thank yous and tax receipts for all donations. We can email you these if you prefer. Pictures of donations will continue to be posted to our social media channels – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  3. The cards mailed out each month to our card recipients will be mailed around the 15th. We will be mailing cards from our card inventory greater than 30 days old. Only one person at Send A Smile Today will handle the cards mailed.
