Video: Cancer Survivors speak about impact of having cancer and receiving uplifting cards in the mail

This video was compiled by Jackie Solis, a rising 9th grader, who was in charge of organizing a card making event for approximately 150 teens at a Girls Camp on July 23, 2014. She earned her silver badge in Girl Scouts because of this event. The teens at the camp made 600 handmade cards. They also donated 500 blank envelopes and 900 Forever stamps to our organization. Wow!

The video tells the story of Send A Smile Today and provides insight into a cancer survivor’s journey and what it meant to them to receive cards while going through cancer treatment.
